Domestic Tourism Promoters Organization “DOTOPO” is a non-governmental and non for profit organization working with the communities and other organizations in the field of tourism. The organization was formally registered in 2014 under a Non-Government Organization Act 24 of 2002. The organization acts as a link between local communities and other players of the industry to make sure that the local community participate and contribute to the development of the tourism industry through engaging them in tourism activities, investment, decision making, policy formulation & planning, benefit sharing and many others. In doing this, the organization will work closely with the different ministries, Parastatal organizations, national and international organizations, Community based organizations, lobby groups and many other stakeholders.
